Where Are They Now?

Probably my 2nd favourite Beverly Hillbilly (after Granny) is Jethro. I didn't even know he was still alive but here he is pissing and moaning about how his dad, Max Baer Sr was portrayed in the film "Cinderella Man".

Also, I note with interest, he is planning on opening a Beverly Hillbillies themed casino. Finally! I never thought the day would come. At last I will have a reason to visit Carson City, Nevada! I think he is overdoing the "Just For Men" a touch too. You be the judge....

Ok, so if you do make it to Carson City, you would be totally remiss if you didn't blast down the highway to Virginia City to see the much referenced town from "Bonanza" and one of the big (small) writing venues of the great Mr. Samuel Longhorne Clemens. I love the Beverly Hillbillies with the rest of them, but Bonanza (and Hoss *sigh*) is where my hillbilly hear lies.

I might do just that. I need to broaden my horizons a bit. My experience with Nevada is limited to casinos and strip clubs.
Do you have a "thang" for guys in 10 gallon hats then?

Yep. I fancy me some cowpoke fellers. Actually, the "thangs" I develop are so random and bizare that there isn't a catch-all rule of thumb. Except that it is usually something quirky in character or physically that gets my teeth sweating over a guy. Brad Pitt... *Yawn*... no thank you. Benecio del Toro, Paul Bettany, Gary Oldman... hubba hubba.
